KILGORE, Texas, September 24, 2007 – Hundreds of Skeeter boat owners will gather on the Patoka Reservoir, an 8,800-acre largemouth bass fishery near Jasper, Indiana on October 14, for the 9th Annual Northern Skeeter Owner’s Tournament. Patoka Reservoir is well known for its quality and quantity of largemouth bass, and was the host site for the 2005 B.A.S.S. Northern Divisional.

“We have an extremely strong dealer and customer base in the Northern states, and we are continuing to build our dealer network, as Skeeter offers one of the most complete boat line-ups in the country,” says Trey White, Director of Marketing for Skeeter Products, Inc. “This is the type of competition where you’ll see our owners running Skeeter’s of all models, sizes and years,” says White. “As we celebrate our 60th Anniversary, we are always grateful to our passionate and loyal owners,” White continued.

Onsite registration will take place from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 13 at the Newton Stewart South Ramp on Patoka Reservoir. Also on Saturday from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Skeeter’s Demo Team will be offering demo rides, giving tournament participants the opportunity to ride in Skeeter’s newest bass boats. One lucky participant will win $500.

Skeeter owners will be competing for numerous prizes and cash awards, including youth/adult categories, male/female categories, big bass and cash payouts for first through tenth place. Skeeter will hold a drawing at the conclusion of the tournament, giving one randomly drawn competitor a new Skeeter SX190 powered by a Yamaha V150 outboard engine, valued at more than $23,000.
