Skeeter owners will have one more opportunity to fish the company’s Owner’s Tournament Series, as Indiana’s Patoka Reservoir will play host to Skeeter’s Northern Owner’s Tournament, October 11-12. Patoka Reservoir, an 8,800-acre largemouth bass fishery near Jasper, Indiana, is well known for its quality and quantity of Largemouth Bass, and was the host site for the 2005 B.A.S.S. Approximately 300 boats, and more than 600 anglers participated in the event, with Roger Jernigan of Dana, North Carolina, winning the big bass tournament with a 6.74 lb. bass, scoring the angler a Skeeter ZX200 bass boat, powered by a Yamaha VZ200 and a EZ Loader trailer, valued at more than $43,000. “We anticipate another great turn out for our Northern Owner’s Tournament, our 10th year for hosting the event, and expect the fishing to be exceptional,” says Skeeter Sales Representative, Danny Blandford. “We have a strong dealer and customer base in the Northern states, and we are proud to offer one of the most complete boat line-ups in the country,” says Blandford. Skeeter owners will be competing for numerous prizes, including cash awards for teams, big bass, youth/adult division, male/female division, etc. Skeeter will hold a drawing at the conclusion of the tournament, giving one randomly drawn team a new Skeeter ZX190 bass boat.
