KILGORE, Texas, – Skeeter, a leader in performance fishing boats, announced today the official introduction of the SX2550 Fish/Family, a new in- or off-shore boat that comes with the high-performance features signature to Skeeter’s top-quality bay boats. At 24 feet, 6 inches, the SX2550 is the largest in the Skeeter SX bay boat family, and is scheduled for distribution to dealers in July of 2019.

Powered by a Yamaha F300 four-stroke outboard, the SX2550 is packed with features designed to create more room, better fishability and a powerful ride. The SX2550 Fish/Family comes standard with a larger and taller two-toned console with a side-entry door, changing room and plenty of space to accommodate a toilet. Rear jump seats and a removable rear deck back rest with a cushion that folds down to extend the rear casting deck. If lifted forward, these seats create extra storage compartments. A three-position step converts from step, to deck extension, to table with a pedestal pole. The SX2550 also features built-in LED lighting, an in-floor fish box with macerator pump, a 12-inch manual jackplate, trim tabs, and fresh and raw water wash-down systems. Tall gunnels and a Carolina flare hull add a distinctive look and create a smooth, dry ride.
The SX2550 Family also comes standard with a two-tone gel Omni hardtop, a Fusion® audio device with four speakers mounted in the e-box, front removable cushions, lean post baitwell with Coastal White hardware, bow handrails, an Omni swim platform, and under water lights at the rear.
